HOW TO FRAME YOUR WORLD

HOW TO FRAME YOUR WORLD

Many times, the world around us seems to be crumbling. Life can appear chaotic, empty, and even meaningless.

In this context, your world refers to your sphere of influence; your home, your family, your environment, and the various areas of your life and career. Therefore, framing your world means restoring order, mending, repairing, arranging, adjusting, and ultimately becoming what you were meant to be.

So, what do you do when life feels empty, meaningless, and chaotic? What happens when everything seems to be falling apart, and hope appears lost?

Begin by Believing and Speaking God’s Word

Start by speaking God’s Word into your situation.

In other words, declare what God says about your situation according to His Word – and do so with faith. As it is written:

“I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak. – 2 Corinthians 4:13

How Did God Do It?

The writer of Hebrews tells us:

“By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.” – Hebrews 11:3

After God created the heavens and the earth, there was still disorder:

The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” – Genesis 1:2-3

We clearly see that when God brought order, structure, and completion to creation, He spoke His Word.

 How Should We Do It?

In the same way, when we face broken relationships, chaotic situations, struggling families, or personal hardships, we can learn from our Creator. After all, we were made in His image and likeness.

We must:

Search the Scriptures concerning our situation

Believe what God says

Confess His Word over our lives

For example, in times of sickness, you can declare:

…by whose stripes you were healed.” 1 Peter 2:24

He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.” Romans 8:11

A Biblical Example: Speaking to Dry Bones

God demonstrated this principle to Ezekiel in the vision of the valley of dry bones; a picture of a completely hopeless situation (Ezekiel 37:11-14).

Yet God instructed him: “Prophesy to these bones… ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!’” Ezekiel 37:4-5

Even in such lifelessness, God’s instruction was clear: speak His Word.

THE GREAT ENCOURAGEMENT WE HAVE

    1. Everything Hears God’s Word

God is the Creator and Master of all things. Therefore, everything responds to His Word.

Dry bones heard the Word

Mountains, hills, rivers, and cities hear the Word (Ezekiel 36:1-5)

Even the dead hear His voice. Jesus demonstrated this when He called Lazarus out of the grave and he lived. John 11.

Spiritual Realities Respond. Not only physical things, but even spiritual realities respond to His voice.

This gives us confidence:

When we speak God’s Word into any situation, that situation responds.

    1. God’s Word Is Active and Powerful

    • God is ready to perform His Word (Jeremiah 1:12)

    • His Word is living and active (Hebrews 4:12)

    • It always accomplishes its purpose (Isaiah 55:10–11)

    • His words are spirit and life

Conclusion

Begin today.

Choose to:

    • Believe God’s Word

    • Speak it consistently over your life

    • Refuse to speak only what you see physically

    • Instead, speak what God says regardless of the circumstances.

    • Walk by faith in His eternal Word, not by sight.

And as you do, you will begin to experience the creative power of God’s Word actively framing and transforming your world whatever it may be.
