WHO WE ARE
Heritage Builders Network (HBN), founded by Nelson Wandira and based in Uganda, is a Christian ministry and leadership movement committed to building people who build others and leave a godly heritage for generations.
We exist to raise and equip children, youth, believers’ communities and leaders with spiritual depth, leadership capacity, and practical tools to create lasting impact. Our work is rooted in biblical truth, driven by purpose, and focused on generational transformation.
HBN believes ministry is not only about what we start, but what we sustain, strengthen, and pass on. We serve Christ faithfully while intentionally investing in people, systems, and initiatives that outlive us.
We integrate spiritual formation with practical action to strengthen believers, and ministers, sustain ministries, and build a resilient, Christ – centered body across generations.
FOUNNDER,EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
NELSON WANDIRA
Welcome, and thank you for taking the time to visit our website.
It is a privilege to share with you the heart behind Heritage Builders Network. Having served in ministry across Uganda for many years, particularly in rural communities, I have witnessed both the great opportunities and the significant challenges facing churches, pastors, leaders, and families today.
My heart has been deeply moved by the need for intentional discipleship, leadership development, and practical support for those serving on the frontlines of ministry. I have seen faithful pastors labor under difficult circumstances, often lacking even basic necessities, while carrying the responsibility of shepherding God’s people and raising future leaders.
At the same time, we are living in a generation of advanced technology coupled with increasing moral decay whereby raising children and young people who genuinely fear God has become increasingly challenging. The need for godly examples, strong mentorship, and biblical foundations has never been greater like today.
Heritage Builders Network exists because we believe that God’s answer is found in godly multiplication. Our passion is to raise people who will, in turn, raise others. We are committed to building a generational legacy of discipleship, leadership, and faithful ministry, guided by the principle found in 2 Timothy 2:2: “And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”
As you explore our website, I invite you to learn more about our mission, programs, and vision for transforming lives and strengthening communities. Whether you are a ministry leader, partner, supporter, or first-time visitor, we are grateful for your interest and welcome you to join us in building generations that will faithfully serve God and impact the world around them.
Thank you for visiting, and may the Lord richly bless abundantly.

“For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 3:11
