Raising a Generation that Knows God
At HBN, we believe that the future of the Church and society is shaped in the hearts of children and young people. Our ministry is committed to nurturing the next generation in the knowledge, love, and ways of God.
The Scriptures remind us in Deuteronomy 6:6–7:
“And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up.”
This instruction forms the heart of our ministry to children and youth..
A Generational Vision
Our ministry carries a generational mindset. We desire to pass on the godly legacy we have received to the next generation—raising children who will grow to know God and eventually teach the next generation after them. As it is written in Psalm 78:2–8, each generation should faithfully declare the works and ways of God to the next, so that they may place their hope in Him.
Youth Programs and Activities
Channeling the Strength of Youth Toward God
Our mission is simple but powerful: to train children in the ways of the Lord and help them grow in godly character from an early age.
We are prayerfully working toward establishing a Children’s Center that will serve children 13 years and below, welcoming them from different church backgrounds and denominations.
The Bible encourages parents and leaders in Ephesians 6:4 to bring up children in the training and admonition of the Lord, and Proverbs 22:6 reminds us to:
“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.”
At HBN, we believe that when a child is carefully guided, taught, and shaped in the right path from the beginning, that foundation often remains with them throughout life.
